Orient Express is bringing the luxury of its famous trains to the high seas with the launch of two stunning cruise ships.
Now the interiors of the first ship to set sail, the Orient Express Corinthian, have been revealed, with guests promised a ‘dreamlike experience’ while on board.
The Corinthian, it has been announced, will set sail in June 2026 and sail the Mediterranean, Adriatic and Caribbean seas.
At 220m (721ft) long with 4,500 m sq (48,437 sq ft) of sails mounted on three masts, Orient Express Corinthian will be the ‘world’s largest sailing yacht’.
In a statement, Orient Express says: ‘By combining the consummate workmanship of France’s most talented gold and silversmiths with the excellence of the engineers working for one of the world’s most prestigious shipbuilders, Orient Express Corinthian offers an unrivalled, dreamlike experience enhanced by cutting-edge technology and perfect comfort on board.
‘Truly reinventing our relationship with time, the yacht will offer a new perspective for discovering the land from the sea, offering unforgettable experiences around iconic moorings and stopovers.’
The mega-yacht will have 54 suites, measuring between 45 m sq (484 sq ft) and 230 m sq (2,475 sq ft). Six of the suites will be ‘premium class’.
All of the suites are set to have panoramic bay windows and have been ‘designed as cocoons opening onto the sea’ with interiors ‘decorated with wood, leather and marble’.

Orient Express Corinthian will have five restaurants and eight bars, including a ‘1930s-style speakeasy’ and a 115-seat cabaret ‘exuding a Parisian atmosphere’.
Facilities onboard include a recording studio, cinema, spa and a 16.6m (54ft) -long swimming pool.
The yachts are a collaboration between the Orient Express sailing division – Orient Express Silenseas – French hospitality brand Accor and the French shipbuilding company Chantiers de l’Atlantique.
